PSB seedling advice needed
« on: May 04, 2013, 13:39 »
Hi everyone,
I've got my PSB seedling growing on in module trays although they're rather spindly and drooping over, as you can see in the pic.
What should i do, re-pot them a little deeper or just leave them be for the time being?
as you can probably guess this is my first attempt
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I would plant them out and protect with netting.

I wouldn't plant them out direct until they've recovered a bit.

Get them into individual pots, planted deeper - and make sure they're not inside - they don't wont to be too warm.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Excellent, cheers for the advice everyone.
I was going to let them get to around 4-5" before planting out and then protect the bed with hoops and netting.

Once their roots begin to fill the new pot you have them in, it will be time to plant them out, even if they are  a little bit smaller than the size you mentioned.
