What is it and is there an organic version ?  :unsure:
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

It's a chemical fertiliser used to supply a quick fix of nitrogen, and has a slightly acidifying effect on soils, which can be handy for ericaceous plants.

It's not organic either chemically or in the "sustainable and from natural sources" sense of the word, but that doesn't mean it's harmful to use in any way.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

And it's great for green leaved veg that need a quick boost - Eg Cabbages, lettuce etc....
When weeding, the best way to know if its a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull it.

If it comes out easy, it was a valuable plant !

I use chicken manure pellets to do the same job - if you're worried about using these - find an organic approved brand of pellets.

Thanks mum that was really the answer I was looking for  :) I already have chicken manure pellets didnt want to go out and buy something I virtually already had  :lol:
