Evening all!

Just nipped up to the lottie for a quick look and I noticed my rhubarb has some flower heads growing in the center of the plant. They are new crowns I put in last year and were growing nicely till the late snow arrived. They seem to have recovered now but two have flower heads on them.

Is this normal or should I be taking the heads of?

Just cut them off at the base

It's normal, and you should take them off.

I always snap mine off at the base so I get more edible stalks rather than waste energy on seeds.
