my onion sets go in tomorrow, fingers crossed, it would have been today but my new strawberry plants and the asparagus plants for the second bed arrived so they got priority and there is only so much "on my knees" time I can do in any one day.

Mine aren't in yet either.  The weather has been too bad to get the ground prepped or anything planted.  I have planted them as late at 10th of May and still got a good crop from them.  They wouldn't have won any prizes on the showbench but they were fine in the casseroles and soups that winter.

Well I bought my onion sets yesterday!  40 red and 40 white for £1 - going to get them planted at the weekend.
