Took a look just tonight. The ale looks a wee bit cloudy / syrupy in the bottles?

We've got them covered at the moment, read somewhere that sun light and flourecent lighting can affect the taste.

The Cider we've started is called Autumn Blush by Muntons.

And..... as soon as that's out the barrel, we're going to do a cherry beer. As 'ordered to do' by my sisiter!

Sounds like alot we're doing in a short time.

But, we're taking some, er make that quite a bit, away with us on our caravan holiday at the end of May to share out with her parents. They're coming to the same park as us.  :D

Not tried that cider kit  :)I will give it a go if yours turns out ok
The longer you leave beer /wine in the bottles(I know it's hard)
the better it will be  :)
scrumpy is organic and one of your five a day.

Doubt we'll be able to leave them alone once they've cleared.

The anticipation is just like growing veg, just waiting to pull / pick your first whatever....

Good place to get m/t bottles is a bottle bank wait till Monday and make a "Withdrawal"  ;) If you sanitize them properly they'll be fine

Well, it went down really well.  :)

Not very 'gassy', must have lossed some carbonation during bottling when they fizzed over as we added the sugar.

So just made it go down that  bit easier I guess....  :D

You won't regret it...(I hope :D)  I've been home brewing for years now, I can make a brew the way I want it.
I started off with kits like most folks, but then the more I got into brewing the deeper you sink towards....."the Dark side" of all grain....that's where I'm at now.
