Seem's that it is Wilko's garlic, i wonder if they are sprayed with some sort of retardant to stop them sending out long shoot's in the warm store's?

I've not even put my spring garlic in yet...although the autumn ones are coming along nicely. 

I should be ok to the garlic in this week or next, shouldn't I?  :blink:

You need to put them in ASAP - very cold conditions obviously slow down their emergence and growth but they actually need a period of cold to induce the bulb to split into cloves later in the season.

My spring garlic was planted 18/2/2013 and is just starting to emerge (about 5 weeks slower than last year!)
