Anyone know how to obtain heirloom gooseberry such as "Gautrey's Earliest"?

I tried RV Roger, Tweedies and Rougham Nurseries, but no luck even though they all carry larger ranges of older British varieties than most. Seems there are/were a great many varieties that just cant be obtained easily. The big plant/seed companies tend to list just a handful of the really common varieties like invicta.

try pennard plants, they sell heirloom seeds and plants. everything i buy from them produces well
