Plant ID
« on: February 06, 2013, 08:03 »
Any idea what this plant is? Is it a weed, or something that has survived the harsh winter and deserves to be allowed to grow?  I only ask, as today I pulled “a weed”, only to find it was a mini Swede.  So before I end its life, I’d like to know what it is, just in case it’s something good.

to give you an idea of size, the long round things scattered about are pellets of chicken manure.

Not sure myself, but can you dig a little of the soil away from the root area to get a better idea?
Now what shall I do today?
