hi every one, hope that your all not too cold and that spring starts soon.

I have my seed potatoes in boxes by the french doors (so that they get lots of light) in the conservatorty, but they dont seem to be doing any thing.  Is it too early for them, should I keep them in the dark.

Help please.

Don't keep them in the dark (when it warms up they'll have long white chits like spaghetti before you've even noticed!) 

Leave them where they are as long as it's frost-free - you won't be planting them for a couple of months.

I'll be planting the first of my earlies in containers in the greenhouse from mid Feb. onwards.

You can't beat freshly-picked new potatoes when they're about a quid each in the shops.
