 We do have a low picket fence made from pallets at the front

Here is the pallet fence I inherited from the previous owner of my plot

It's there you have to look for it and some of it is laying on the ground ;)

Like BabbyAnn we're not allowed formal fences. I'll be using espaliered fruit trees as my boundary, and some trained thornless brambles as a small windbreak.

Angela, that't a really pretty fence, and a lovely idea for vertical growing.  :)
