It's pepper time..

My chenzos that I am attempting to overwinter have started to produce flower buds on the main stalk. Is this normal or are they just very confused? They still have a fair amount of fruit on too.

My cayenne peppers are now in their third year and despite being chopped down to about 8" they are still flowering (reminds me of Monty Python's "Black Knight"!)

I keep telling them they need to have a rest (and then I snip the flowers off!)

They do actually seem to want to crop the whole year round, and have done since I started them off (grown on a south-facing windowsill.)
