Potatoes - lost most to blight and we don't eat that many.
Sweetcorn - takes up too much space.
Runner beans - don't even like them.  Grow them for family and friends. Will grow more Climbing French Beans instead.
Giant pumpkin - what do you do with them if not for carving a face for Halloween.
I'm gonna give Aubrgines a last chance. Had quite a few pencil shaped fruits towards end of September.
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

Another one for no more aubergines. I love them, but both years I have grown them, they only start to fruit as the weather turns. Yield in return for growing cost very poor.
Also ditto asparagus peas, Squibbs is right.
Definitely no strawberry sticks - yuk!

Not growig beetroot again. It was very successful but I can't make myself enjoy the taste - just too earthy!

Not growing maincrop potatoes, although thanks to advice here, we've found a really good variety. ::) We don't have space to grow everything we'd like, unless we started digging up the rest of the garden and turning the whole thing into an allotment. No, it isn't an option..  :nowink: :)

I think the jury is still out, but at the moment it looks as though we're not going to grow tomatoes - unless anyone can promise good weather or we can suddenly afford an enormous greenhouse.

I think I will be growing everything that I grew last year, though the varieties may change a bit, and a few things more.

Not giving up on anything yet, though I already don't grow celeriac or aubergines. The former because I'm allergic (though oddly not to celery) and the latter because none of us like them.

Mangetout. Simply impossible to protect from my sparrow colony and I have tried very very hard. They either dig secret tunnels under the mesh or have learned to teleport!

Argugula, try growing only the Siberian type tomatoes. They're not huge but you get very nice toms in about 60 days and the plants don't mind a fair bit of cold since they come from Siberia. Stupice (stu-peeka) is one my mother has grown for years and is always dependable in her colder, higher altitude.

I've just been given seeds of a Polish variety of paste tomato called Polish Linguisa that makes large paste tomatoes and in quantity. Normally tomatoes don't grow well in Poland but this has obviously adapted.

Am liking Lardman's idea of a final written warning - sounds much more promising than my finger-wagging and muttered threats, which usually include the words "two chances" and/or "glyphosate" (not that my cucumbers have ever needed the latter to get rid of them!)  :D

In 2011 I apparently chanced upon a sweet potato with almost magical sprouting properties so I saved one of the tubers and grew them again this year - it won't happen in 2013 though because last year I discovered that I don't really like sweet potato that much, and this year they decided they don't like me either.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
