They're ordered by type as well

Each type is in it's own padded envelope though, so a lot of the space is padding, honest

No room for fresh air in my seed storage box

My More Veg order arrived today  :D  Ideal way to try stuff as they do cheap packs with not too many seeds in  :)

So to add to my ever growing list I have :

Asparagus - grown before from seed and is a good way to get crowns cheaply
Fiesta sweetcorn - multi coloured late maturing kind
Soybeans
Chinese greens Tokyo Bekana, Kailaan and Choy Sum
Collard greens
Cabbage Kalibos - this looks lovely for salads and slaws  :)
Texel greens
Black Spanish Radish
Black Futsu squash - been watching too many aisian cooking channels on YouTube  ::)
Fenugreek for growing for leaves - this is Manjula's fault on YouTube again
Dill and chervil as like the idea of more fresh green herbs

Now just need to update my seed spreadsheet, create room in the seed box  and more to the point, work out how they fit into the plot   I love problems like this  :D

I was doing really well, confining seeds to one box then came Christmas and the gifts of seeds and a second seed box - which I am busy filling!

NewShoot, I got seed envy from your list -  fenugreek, chervil and the black squash are now winging their way to me across the ether!

I've not been sent 1 paper catalogue this year !  >:( Although I found another seed tray full of part packets in the utility the other day.

Im a recovering Seed-a-holic.

Sown leeks, onions, peppers, melons, squash, tomato's, courgettes, parsnips, more leeks.
Then decided to top up and ordered 8 more packets of seeds.
Just had email confirmation that they have been dispatched.

Have onion set and seed potato's ready to go in some time.

Some leeks already germinated.

Cabbage Kalibos - this looks lovely for salads and slaws  :)

They are great for all sorts of things but they do grow huge and take up lots of space. Don't grow too many - part packet job.  Experience speaks.

I take it that you have a large greenhouse or polytunnel for these plants that can't stand a whiff of frost, or in some cases anything approaching it? i.e Tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, melons & squash.

Some of these are going to get very big in the four months before you can plant them outside, if that's where they're going!

I've sown nothing that's cold sensitive yet and I do have two greenhouses, one being heated.

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Looking back at this time last year, I had 51 peppers, 4 assorted flowers, basil, parsley and loads of tomatoes popping up all over the place.  Two months later the dining table was covered along with five window sills and it cost me a fortune in tin foil   I was trying to grow as much as I could for my Dad's big party however.

I will be much more restrained this year.  ::)
