Put me out of my misery......
« on: November 04, 2012, 16:06 »
Hi all. Just looking for some identification help. I think I know the answer and that would be that I have been loving, looking after and caring for a weed, please put me out of my misery:

It doesn't look particularly edible. What do you think it is?

Don't think so because autumn olive is actually a shrub.

I know I've seen that plant before but simply cannot remember what it is.

This was my enemy at my last house, it used to come up everywhere and it smells really pungent!

You would have to hold your nose to eat it!  I would really have to be starving to try it!!!!

Right it's gone. Really quite annoyed - it didn't deserve my love! Think I will get some more autumn olive started in the warm greenhouse, see if I can give it a headstart.

Thanks everyone.

Hi again, just thought I would throw another one at you. I have been happily allowing this plant to grow - taking little notice of it believing it was just another one of my Royal black chillies. Went to move all the chillies indoors yesterday and realised it's not the same thing. Looks lovely though, little pink flowers and some sort of "fruit".

Thanks in advance!
