I made fruit loaf in my bread maker for the first time at the weekend!!!  It was YUMMY LISCIOUS!!!! Kind of wish I'd paid the extra for the one with the fruit dispensor now - could have easily missed the little "beep... beep..." to tell me to drop the fruit in!

I made some sultana bread the other day from a recipe on the internet.  The reviews on the result were a bit mixed.  One person said the original had too much yeast for the amount of flour,  another said there wasn't enough water in the original recipe.

So I did something between the 2 and did is as a small loaf.  When it came out, it didn't look properly cooked, so I just popped it in the oven to finish it off thinking it would end up as bread and butter pudding.   But it wasn't at all bad, and Brian finished it off, so it didn't get to the pudding stage!!!
