...... lots of runny poo! They have been wormed and baytrilled quite recently and seem in good fettle, plenty of eggs etc, so could it be diet? They have good quality layer pellets, lots of water and the occasional bit of fruit or veg.

Does a handful of mixed corn help bind things up? I understand not to to over feed them with corn though.

Were they wormed with Flubenvet or another chemical wormer? Runny poos can be caused by worms and it may be 1 of the first things I would rule out.

Is it very smelly poo? and making a mess round their bums?  If so they may have an infection, but as the previous poster said, worms are the first things to rule out.

Definitely look into the worms. Why did they have baytril? Anti-biotics may have upset the natural balance of the gut and the runny poos could be down to this. May be worth trying a little live yogurt for a few days to redress this.
