My run has a mesh roof and I used corrugated plastic sheets but fixed them on the underside of the run with bungee cords. If it's windy the sheets can't lift up as the mesh keeps them in place.

Where did u get the perspex sheets from?

got the sheets from a company that use them to secure properties -church windows, empty buildings etc. Keeps most of the rain out
