Hi all
I like many have sufford from the dreaded Blight this year, this the first ttime i've had so a bit unsure what i need or can do next.
Can i grow in this soil next year safly but not potatoes again or do i have to do some thing to the soil, treat it to make it workable again. and lastly is there anything else i should avoid growing there suject to me being able to

Blight will only survive in live plant material and will only affect members of the Solanaceae family such as tomatoes & potatoes. Other crops will not be affected.

Plot hygiene is essential and every effort should be made to remove even the smallest of potatoes after digging.

Even these precautions may well be not enough though, as blight is wind-borne and can blow in from anywhere despite your own best efforts.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Which is why this year I sprayed my potatoes and tomatoes with Bordeux mixture, and this delayed the onset of blight , and we didn't lose the crops as we did last year
