Two weeks ago in a Mr Magoo moment I picked up an Eraza ant killer spray bottle and dosed my greenhouse peppers and tomatoes with it instead of the Bayer bug spray sitting next to it that I was intending to spray for a massive aphid infestation.  Have I effectively condemned all the affected plants to the bin or will the effects of this stupid mistake wear off?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I suspect that if they are still alive and healthy 2 weeks later on, you may have got away with it 

I would, however, make sure to wash any tomatoes that may have been on the plant at the time of the spraying incident.

Thanks a lot that's very helpful.  The plants couldn't look healthier, I was a bit worried that I might have made them too toxic to consume!

Having had a look at the label for Eraza I dont think I would want to eat anything that you have sprayed, and also I would be reluctant to use it near food producing plants because I would think its not going to be bee friendly.

Scarily it is approved for use on food producing plants, and this fact-sheet seems to tell you just about everything!

It says the half life on plants is 6-17 days depending upon species.
