ok some of you may have seen the pics of my plot which i took over this summer. it was only a half plot but is now clean and ready for next year, a few weeks ago i was imformed that it may be possable to get my hands on a full plot, this has been done now in the form of a plot swap the lady who was given the full plot did not like the amount of work it was going to take to get it into order so tonight we have sorted out the swap so i now have to start again but this time the plot only has grass on it no nettles or docks and no signs of brambles
am i mad

No, I don't think you are anyway lol. I know it's going to mean lots more work for you but you'll have lots more fruit and veggies to so in the long run I would say you're the winner so CONGRATS!  :D

Oooh, I wish I could have the one with a little verandah type space on the front of it...

Congratulations!

Yep, that looks nice.

Three sheds?????? I'd be happy with one shed, really.

Lot of hard work, but will be well worth it in the end.

I'm NOT moving gardens again.

just an update
not got a lot done due to work and the wether but the sheds have been sorted most of the plot has been strimmed down and last sunday i managed to strim half of it again (i can now see soil) the grass has spread in sort of a carpet so not a lot of root what i am left with is a large pile of grass i dont think it will dry at this time of year so would it be best to pile it up and let it start rotting and see what its like next year with luck i my be able to finish the job tomorrow if its dry as i have the afternoon off fingers crossed

I have a carpet of grass too which is encouraging as I didn't fancy digging out 60 foot of solid couch!  No advice, just relief with you for the lesser of two evils!
