right i am getting annoyed now with sweetcorn. just been trying to hunt down ready to plant ones with no success. so i am trying now thinking i might have to try seed again for the 3rd  time. so do you reckon i am now better off trying to plant them straight in the ground? and cloche them so they stay warm instead of doing them in pots?
some advice would be great as this will be my last attempt now.

I had to sow again so did so directly into the bed I'd prepared for the plants. I did manage to get 7 plants out of about 18 sown, which rotted off from the top down    The ones I sowed just over a week ago are coming up.  Whether they will amount to anything remains to be seen but you can but try

It's a bad year so far, what did grow got eaten by slugs, so, I'm trying again in paper pots cos some of the forecasters are saying a warmer july and august

well i have been digging the plot for them ready. the soil is warm so fingers crossed when i plant them they will be ok.
