Are These Leeks & PSB Viable?
« on: June 13, 2012, 16:31 »
Below, images of leeks and slug damaged PSB seedlings. My question is are the leeks suitable for planting out at this thickness (about 1/8 ") AND are the PSB salvageable  enough to recover and produce?

assuming the weather picks up a bit  ::) I'd say yes :) you have to hope the slugs don't get'em though  :(

The leeks will be fine.. I got tired of waiting for mine to grow to pencil size and planted them out like whet yours are a week ago and they are already growing madly..

Agree about the leeks going out and not waiting 'til they thicken up....

Agree about the brassicas too.  If you think yours are slug-damaged you wanna see mne!  And pigeon-pecked..... and ravaged by the wind...
