Legionella is normally found in water pipes - thatswhy at the hospital we have flush all taps and showers for 2 minutes each day to prevent Legionella from building up.

This makes me very suspicious of Morrison's new fruit and veg displays with the misting devices!

There are hundreds of germs in soil and compost - worst of all a bug that can cause necrotising fasciitis lives naturally in soil - now thats a bug you don't want to get in a cut!

However risky gardening might be, it's not going to stop us, now is it?
Gotta die from something after all! ::)

I always find a wipe of the hands under each armpit does quite a good job, especially if it is a warm day!

Lol. I coughed my guts up and had coffee coming out me nose when I read that.

Reminds me of my grandad god rest him
"Your first job is to prepare the soil.  The best tool for this is your neighbor's motorized garden tiller.  If your neighbor does not own a garden tiller, suggest that he buy one."

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

So it looks like garden centres will be selling a new line in chemical contamination outfits. I wonder if they will do one with pretty flowers all over it with matching boots, respirator and decontamination tent.
