Does anyone grow these? I know you can use them as red shell beans or also as green beans - ie as most varieties.

Question is do they taste like all the other green french beans or do they have a different taste or texture?

I think they're the one's used as red kidney beans in chillie con carne.
I haven't grown them although I have eaten lots.  :lol:

Yeah they can be after looking on t'internet - but they can also be eaten as fresh green french beans - just wonder how they actually taste?

They are the only beans i currently have (10p a few years ago at wilkos!!)

They just taste like green beans  :D as long as you pick them young ;)
