Celeriac planting

My celeriac us doing very well. How soon can it be planted outside under home made cloches

All the way from my allotment in beautiful Derbyshire. I'm in year 3 of my allotment and wish I'd caught the bug years ago, things growing from strength to strength

I have grown celeriac for a few years now and would say they are looking extremely leggy. I would harden them off for a good fortnight ina coldframe or similar, then plant out asap. Mine have been out for a fortnight now but are nowhere near as tall so all these strong winds are not doing much harm. If we get forecast a hard frost you can throw a piece of fleece over them but they should be fine now.

I dont have a cold frame what else could I use? Could I place in a sheltered spot near my shed
