Morning All

I sowed some basil, coriander, chilli, parsley and mint all at the same time in a 5 section unheated windowsill propagator, the basil, parsley and coriander are all strong and now growing true leaves, the chilli has sprouted over the last week or so and is now about 1 inch tall but the mint crikey it only put in an appearance yesterday and is so so tiny, it seems to be taking forever to grow.

I cannot find the seed packet now (dohhhhhhh it is here somewhere!) is this normal for mint? Does it only grow like a weed once it is strong and in the ground?

oh not just me then, same here, the mint is so tiny yet everything else is growing fine, it's the first time I've ever grown it from seed and knowing how rampant it is I expected it to be romping ahead.  I sowed some more yesterday just in case it was something I'd done

From what I remember, they do take aaaaagggeeessss, but once they are growing they grow faaaassstttttt. Persevere!!
