I've never had a sunflower seedling recover from a snapped stem.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

A few years ago I sowed sunflowers. I put them in pots and lobbed them on the patio. Nothing happened for a while and I went on holiday neglecting them. When I returned they were huge. They were strong and when planted out grew very tall. So I am going to wait for it to warm up. Put them in pots and leave them to germinate just like before, cant promise I will get sunflowers though  :D

I put some in pots in my greenhouse thats in the house!! I dont think they are proper giant variety so have ordered new ones from Amazon. I am going to sow mine in the garden. Maybe put them in my plazzy thing that I though was a clotch but is really a poly tunnel, that seem a good idea.  :)
