I've just had an e-mail recommending crushed fresh pumpkin seeds as a natural wormer for poultry - plenty of opportunity to try at this time of year. Anyone heard of this???

I've heard of other health benefits for men, particularly for prostate and reproductive health. Might help out aging roosters with feathers too!!!

I fed mine the melon seeds from last nights desert, but this is a new one on me
No need to crush them though, because the birds gizzard will do this quite naturally.

That's great news, we have a bag the size of Bradford in our cupboard (bought during a temporary health kick which turned into a chocolate boogy...)

yep ours scoff melon seeds with relish, we give them to them fresh also the melon skin they like to pick it paper thin for the last bit of melon
