Now here's a question for you all, maybe one of you has experienced a similar problem.

I got my growbags from one of the discount supermarkets earlier this year. My tomatoes were planted out in these growbags with bottomless pots filled with a different compost in. They initially looked a bit curly around the tops but seem to have grown ok since then, so I put this down to a combination of being planted out and a minor attack of greenfly.

A couple of weeks ago my chilis were planted into the same type of growbag. I have 5 different types growing and one type has started to grow very oddly - one of them has even started to grow horizontally!

I wondered if there was a possibility of aminopyralid being present in growbags though I must admit I can't find any information suggesting that they are susceptible to the compound anyway. Or possibly there is a more innocent explanation - they have all been nibbled by greenfly a bit and most of them are growing ok after all

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Since the tomatoes are reasonably OK, I doubt that it is aminopyralid.

However greenfly can carry viruses, which is what I suspect has happened to your chilis.  There is not much you can do, except hope they grow out of it.

Not so cheers,

Gillie

Hmmm think I'll rip out the one that is growing really funny and pop in one of my spares. Fortunately I haven't given them all away yet!!

Thanks.
