I was thinking of using compost from last years containers and growbags as a mulch around my autumn rasperries on the lottie. I believe there may be vine weevil present - as I previously mixed some with new compost to grow primulas, and one or two of them didnt thrive and appear to have very little root left. Would this be a problem for the raspberries?
How about if I let it dry out and used it on top of weed membrane for paths?
It just seems a shame not to do something with it!
