Does anybody feed codliver oil to their chooks? if so how much per kg of corn and is once a week ok

I feed sunflower seed to increase the intake of oil mixed with there corn treat

I don't as I have discovered one of my dogs was allergic to cod liver oil so am now very wary of it. Also you have to be careful as too much oil can be bad so if you are going to do it (and a lot do when mixing flubenvet and layers to get it to stick) just be careful

Thanks for that guys, I know if you feed too much too often it can cause liver damage.
But I thought a little once a week cant do any harm 
I do mix a little wild bird seed in with the corn for a small treat and it contains sunflower seeds, they like the millet and poppy seeds. Just makes things a bit more interesting for them  :blink:
