I think it's very funny, anyhow, I just remembered, what's missing, but then again, it's a question of choice. :wink:

Herbs, salad leaves, red cabbage, overwintering brassicas. If you wanna grow any, that is.  And I wouldn't be without sweetcorn, peppers and cucumbers.  Not mentioning parsley and garlic, that goes without saying. :)

As a new way to try broad beans - roast them then use as a snack food.  Lovely.........

aaargh I forgot my winter veg. i got purple sprouting broccolli, celtic cabbage and musselburgh leekes in now. have to get more seed. Ta for that.

Get a packet of frozen veg,try them and remember that home grown are far better and sow some if you like them or you can try all the various reciepes and sow in spring.I love them though not until I grew my own.

Overwintered broad beans did well for me this year. But agree check you like them first. You might also want to consider having some Borlotti beans to sow in spring they are great as you can out the whole pod or the beans when older or finally leave them to dry out and use them as stored dry beans(remembering to soak them well and boil)  Their pods are a dappled red so you can interplant with other veg (eg Sweetcorn ) and easily spot them.
