Sorry totaly disagree with advice to feed wild animals it will just incorage more to come and may bring foxes into your chucks life, the feeding of these pests is what causes so many problems to us all

As Tony says feeding Foxes is idiotic, mind you the flip side to that is that they get to come to a place where you can Eradicate them and in the past Gamekeepers far and wide created Middens to attract Vermin to a place where it can be controlled.

I'd be very interested to hear how you get on too.  I'm also in North Aberdeenshire and we had to give up keeping ducks because of a persistent and aggressive badger.  We had muddy badger paw prints all over the door of the duck house, around the bolt too!!  Thankfully it never did manage to get into the duck house, but it managed to lift up the chicken wire which we'd sunk a foot under the ground and edged with boulders!!  Protected too, so there's nothing much we can do except fence very securely.
