Have found some veg amongst the weeds on my new allotment

Some cabbages and onions. Will need to be coming out of the ground soon?

get the onions up now bend them over at the bulb tie a piece string tight around the stem closes to the bulb and hang depending on how many you have .use them up .. the cabbages im guessing are summer ones .they will be fine till the first frosts come .

munjac - cabbages til first frosts come... they have come! Should I take out my cabbages now or when is the best time. They're looking good at the mo. I could blanche them and freeze them or is that not a good idea?
