[Beetroot queen]

On saturday we rescued 6 columbian blacktail hens. They really look scrawny and rough but they will come on with a lot of TLC. I honestly didn't think one would make the 10 minute journey home but now she's spent the whole day scratching about looking for food.

We have nicknamed 3 but the kids don't like the names, goldie named by hubby, twiglet the terrible looking one and drumsticks, the loud bossy one.

Any way hello all. I am sure I'll have lots of questions and very few answers, it was the same when we got the plots back in 2008 mind you I still can provide any answers even now. Its a fingers crossed veg growing system we run

Thanks all, I was a regular on the other forums until I gave birth on July the 4th and that seems to have interfeared with plot time, web time, my time, any time hehe sure this year will be easier NOT.

My giirls do look rough mind yyou what could I expect 6 chooks for 5 pound. My other daughter was so offended at his price she would have taken all 200
