« on: January 26, 2012, 11:29 »
I know My Co can't be cured and the Chicken will always have it. I know it can be passed to the Egg What I want to know is ...

Can you eat eggs from a chicken that has had a Myco flare up although it not cleared up at the moment?..

What are you treating your hen with?  There will be a withdrawal period related to the medication.

Myco is shed into the egg and can be transferred into the chick, but only if the hen is actively suffering when she laid the egg... if she is well then the egg should be fine.

It would be safe to eat the eggs (cooked obviously) but not if on antibiotics.
I love Pekins, Polands and Seramas :) and eggs!!!
