We are busy renovating the hen and duck house and have decided to put a pop hole in the door. Please could someone advise on a suitable size that the ducks would find acceptable. Thanks.

I kept minature appleyards and they used a house with a surprisingly small pop hole possible slightly smaller than A4 paper size, it depends on breed....

Sorry I can't advise on actual size but I know a larger entrance for ducks is usually recommended as they hurtle out as one when the door is opened. a larger door helps to prevent injury

Just increased mine today, I would say it's equal to about x2 A4 sheets of paper

I suppose it also depends on the size of the ducks concerned!
