 as said we do buy our plug plants in as a family thing as our supplier has a minimum order of 5 trays

i know it may seem rather costly but you get what you pay for at the end of the day by the time the hanging baskets  wall baskets are planted and the borders and the family have taken there share there's not much left

 its more economical for me to buy raised cuttings because they are already established so we don't need to much heating that is very costly

i think when i retire this may be a luxury i can't afford to carry on with

I just looked at a packet of Hispi cabbage in Sainsburys, £3.49 for 50 seeds :ohmy: 7 pence for each cabbage seed! They'll have to start putting security tabs on them soon.

You just have to shop around...as an example......D T Brown charge £1.89 for 75 Hispi and there is no P&P charge  :)
