bean question

my daughter has returned from school today with a bean plant that must be at least 18" tall, it has been grown in a glass at home for the last 3 weeks with no soil just damp paper the question is it possable to plant a thing like this and will it grow on to produce pod if so where to put the plant as i am not going to heat a green house for one bean btw my daughter is in year 11 i did this sort of thing when i was still in short trousers

Hi Andy,

Of course, you are not going to heat the greenhouse for one bean, but if you can find it a corner anywhere in the house in a pot, it will do something next year and kid will be happy.
