just put manure on my to beds this is the first time iv dun this i think it is about 5 weeks old it laing on top not dug in yet :nowink: wot veg can i grew in it next year

You can grow carrots and 'snips as long as you don't dig it in - just scrape away the manure and sow your rows.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

It's worth saying that the brassicas don't like an acid soil and manure can increase acidity. As this site recommends (http://www.allotment-garden.org/vegetable/brassicas/index.php), you may need to check and add lime if necessary. If you are going for brassicas dig the manure in well before you plant to give the soil time to firm up - most brassicas (especially brussels sprouts) like a firm bed.

In a four-year crop rotations (http://www.allotment-garden.org/vegetable/crop-rotation/four-year-crop-rotation.php), you would manure the autumn before potatoes, follow with a legume crop, then brassicas and finally carrots and parsnips before manuring and beginning again.

That's the theory anyway....
