Is there a special feed for quail?there's nowt on the shelves at jollies,only chicken feed and aviary bird feed.

You can buy specialist quail food online, or you can just feed them crushed layers pellets, or chick crumb.
We fed ours just on chick crumb until recently and now we feed them a mix of chick crumb and quail layers pellets, just because we have some in.

I feed mine chick crumb and get loads of eggs and they seem to be very healthy. Also managed very well on it during last winter where we had very cold temperatures and two nights of -18 degrees.

i Feed mine on cockateel  seed they love it and it has all the nutrition they need

I have ordered some Marriages quail food from a Marriages stockist but am feeding them on layers pellets at the moment.
