I only have a few girls at the mo  i feed them on chicken corn and layers pellets mixed, i also give them boiled potatoe skins mixed with layers mash arter reading on here it seems a lot of you only feed layers pellets, what is best

Layers pellets are a balanced diet for laying hens.  Small amounts of corn as a treat in the late afternoon would be ok as they should have eaten enough pellets by then.  Mealworms and veggies in small amounts in the afternoon would also be fine.

Best not to mix corn and other foods as the chooks tend to pick out the corn and scatter the rest in the process .
About 20 grams of corn per bird near roosting time gives them a high energy but slowly digestible fill to keep them warm on cold winter nights.
