Sorry, a little off topic :wub: but did anyone see the game pie dish on flog it this afternoon.  I would have bid for it if I'd been there.  It sold for £52.
Funnily enough I'm sure the very same dish is for sale on ebay with a starting price of £165  :blink:  http://tinyurl.com/cl2sj4a

Sorry about that asd1 ::)
Some years i make a game pie mid December and use what i have which is about the same as the stuff you have.  I dont really use a recipe, OH doesn't like herbs in anything, so i just season the chopped up meat, add a bit of onion, put it into hotwater crust pastry and go for it. When its cold top it up with jellied stock made with pigs trotters.  :)
Or do you intend to make a hot pie :)

Not sure what I intend, my sister has a freezer full of meat from her friend that goes shooting. However she doesn't like he taste of most of it so has offered it to me and I just fancy game pie ;) the eBay dish does look lovely tho (I do normally watch flogg it but didn't catch this one )
