Hi all,

We have some Kale and PS Brocolli plants about 2 inches tall. Can we plant them out now under cloches and if so when will they be ready to harvest.  I have consulted my books but non are telling me to plant now, am i too late or stupidly early?

I prefare to plant my winter stuff a little earlier, but I recon they should be just fine under cloche,s. What have you got to lose, chuck em in

you're late for winter maincrop. Kale sown now is usually eaten small as cut and come again, in salads and stir fry. Plant them up and see what happens!
They don't need a cloche (assuming they've been hardened off) as they are very hardy plants.
They're ready when they're big enough to eat

I shall grow half on and use the others as salad, perfect as we couldn't have put them all in to grow on as mains.
