cockerill or not?

Hi i have a dilemma! at the beginning of august i bought 3 lovely pekin bantams,suposedly POL,the black 1 has produced an egg daily till now that she is broody,but the other 2 not,they are cuckoo pekins and now 1 is making a funny screeching noise,DO I HAVE COCKERILLS? they look the same as the hen.no coms or wattles,how can i tell?

Hello Bluecharlie,
It would help if you could post a picture of your pekins for us.  You could very well have one or two little cockerels but it's difficult to tell without a picture.

They may be cockerels or they may just be younger than the laying hen.  Sometimes at this time of year if a pullet hasn't already started laying she may hold of starting until after mid-winter's day!  I'm not familiar with pekin bantams so I don't know how old they ned to be before they start laying.

As Bantam Novice has suggested, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Once we have seen them we could make a more educated guess.  :)
