In this months edition of kitchen garden I read an article which contained information on a vegetable called Sheem beans. It appears to do well over here and also has an excellent flavour, the only trouble is I can’t find any suppliers on the web. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

from a quick Google it looks as if Sheem beans are broad beans in Bengali

Many thanks for your help Mum, but looking at the photo in the article these sheem beans have purple and green  pods and a shape similar to runner beans. Apparently the beans come from Bangladesh. I’ve emailed a couple of seed suppliers alongside the article and am now awaiting a reply fingers crossed.
