how long is a piece of string.......as much as you fancy moving, is probably more like it.

If your back is up to it, then as much as you can...but do not put any where you will plant root crops ;)
and beware of  Aminopyralid a persistent weedkiller that can be in manure, some info here

Get as much as you can store. The older the better when it comes to manure. Try to keep it for a couple of years, if you can, and let it break down. I don't think you can get too much of the stuff , as long as you have somewhere to keep it.

I agree with sonny about how much to get  :D

The old guys round our way add a barrow load per square yard where they are going to plant their spuds , if that helps

is the manure already rotted down?  When I got my first load it was VERY fresh so I could only use some of it sparingly on some beds, more like a mulch than actually dug in.

I started with about thirty bags of stable manure in April, and let it diminish in a close sided metal panel compost heap. It went down to about half the original bulk.

I only put my paw in to see what it was like on Sunday, and it's just about rotted enough to use this autumn. And it smells fantastic too!

As Sunshineband says, sparingly and regularly, and nowhere near your carrots and parsnips for next year.

And keep some by for liquid manure next year, you won't regret it!

4 tons will be about right for your plot.
