Hi all,
Our 3 chickens have started laying really well, 3 eggs most days now (just coming up 2 30 weeks old)  however, a couple of days ago we had 2 soft eggs laid in the coop and 3 normal shell ones....today we had 2 soft eggs, broken, in the run and 2 normal shell ones in the coop...is this normal? Are they still getting use to laying properly?

It sounds as if they are just fine-tuning their egg-laying mechanism.  They should get back into synch.   Just check that there's no egg stuck or egg yolk in their vents.
