Thanks Guys!

I hoiked out two blown broccoli yesterday, and in fact there were signs of a little clubroot, so the old un-dug plot isn't clear as we'd hoped.

However, it wasn't a very large affected area - say less than 10% of the root ball, and some of the others are thriving very well. I had to saw off the root ball to chuck it somewhere safe and away from the compost, and it was like carving iron...

What is interesting though, is that the swede planted about 5' away have romped on, and are not showing any signs as far as I can see. And there's aome chard close by as well, but that's about 1' high, so we'll wait and see.

It's never too late to be disappointed though, and there's plenty of time for something to go wrong...
