i inherited it from the seed , cos have only grown spuds this year in at least 15 years, now my good fresh ground is useless i will only be getting scottish seed from now on :happy:

The soil is ok to use for other crops, and by the time rotation brings potatoes back to that bed, it will be ok for them again

yes mum, i understand that ok, i have three varieties kerrs pink, navan and arran victory, over here we like the floury dry mealy spud, unfortunately, they seem to be more prone to hickups like this
